Nursing Innovations Mission:

To ensure individuals with developmental disabilities receive quality care by empowering providers and nurses with resources and streamlined solutions.

We believe that change is overdue in the healthcare industry. Providers like you are faced with increasingly demanding requirements for funding, and the old systems and processes that used to work just aren’t cutting it anymore.

We understand the obstacles you’re facing. Your to-do lists are impossibly long. Tasks are left undone because your team simply doesn’t have time. And the result? Individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities aren’t able to receive the quality of care you’re passionate about providing.

It’s time for a new way of doing things. It’s time for relief. It’s time for a fresh perspective. It’s time for quality. These are the things driving our mission and bringing major results to the providers we partner with — and ultimately, the Texas IDD community.

Values That Guide Us

  • Support

Whether you’re a provider or a nurse on our team, we’re here to help you thrive. We do everything we can to make your job easier and more rewarding — so you can focus on providing the best care possible.

  • Innovation

We bring solutions, resources, and vetted partners to our service model in order to solve long-standing problems in our industry. We’re always seeking ways to improve, support, and advance provider nursing utilization.

  • Compassion

We’re passionate about advocating for the IDD community. We take pride in providing exceptional care for this population who can’t do it for themselves.

  • Collaboration

We believe in teamwork — with the providers we serve and with our internal team of nurses. Working together now will ensure a better future for providers, nurses, and the IDD community we serve.

  • Efficiency

Obstacles like state mandates, required paperwork, billing, and other essential daily tasks prevent you from focusing on what matters most – providing quality care. We streamline your processes and provide you with the relief you need to ensure long-term success.

Meet the Team

  • Pamela Long

    Co-Owner

Bachelor in Science of Nursing; Registered Nurse - RN

The IDD community has my heart. I am determined to advocate for them, and help make sure that anyone caring for them has the tools they need to provide excellent, compassionate care. I want to change the lives of people in the IDD community, and ensure that they are seen, heard, and cared for the way they deserve to be!

    Fun fact about Pamela:

When people meet me, they tend to think I am an extrovert, but I am an absolute introvert! My idea of a good time is being at home with my family, in my pajamas, binge-watching some good TV! I also cannot hit a tune to save my life, but I love to karaoke, while out on assessments one day one of the residents wanted to show me her karaoke machine, so she and I sang some Dolly Parton together and had the time of our lives!

  • Lilie Wilson

    Co-Owner

I love being part of a team where I can make a difference in someone’s life. I’ve found my passion and path in working with Nursing Innovations: A group of nurses who are passionate about the IDD community and ensuring that they receive the care they need to live a healthier life.

    Fun fact about Lilie:

I love to spend time and train with my American Hairless Terrier. My husband tells people that I am a professional dog sitter because I will travel almost anywhere to dog sit; I am the happiest anytime I am on the lake, in a swimming pool, or on the beach.

  • Megan Hinds

    Co-Owner

Bachelor in Science of Nursing; Registered Nurse - RN

With my background working in the hospital as a bedside NICU nurse, I was flabbergasted at the lack of resources available for the IDD population. It has become my purpose to ensure that these individuals experience the level of care that we all expect our loved ones to receive! Every interaction I have is patient-focused; I aim to ensure they feel heard, seen, and validated. A person’s IQ does not determine their worth and ability to contribute to society!

    Fun fact about Megan:

I used to be a social media influencer sharing about home renovation projects, DIY tutorials, and home decorating. All my free time is spent with my husband and our 5 children when I am not at the grocery store! Where do they put all that food?!

  • Chloe L Guerra

    Co-Owner

Bachelor in Science of Nursing; Registered Nurse - RN

First and foremost, I love working with and advocating for the IDD Community. Being able to visit with them, perform comprehensive assessments, and ensure that both their physical and mental health needs are being addressed is my 'why'. The IDD population is underserved, and knowing that each day I am doing what I can to make their lives better gives me so much joy.

    Fun fact about Chloe:

My significant other and I have 4 boys, I'm an avid gym goer, I usually out-eat everyone around me- but hate to cook, I’m very competitive with any board game I play, and I love to try and experience weird/ different foods.
